Powerball lottery: Did you win Wednesday’s $168 million Powerball draw? Winning numbers, live results (01/06/2022)
The power ball Wednesday’s lottery draw jackpot jumped to around $168 million, with a cash option worth $99.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 11, 41, 56, 57 and 63. The Powerball drawn was 2 with a Power Play of 2X.
No one across the country hit Monday’s $157.5 million jackpot. There were also no $1 million second prize tickets sold.
In New Jersey, a $50,000 third-prize ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven/Sunoco combination on 34th Street, Ocean City. It matched four numbers plus the Powerball.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 27, 28, 51, 68, and 69. The Powerball drawn was 22 with a 2X power play.
Also, no one touched the $10 million secondary draw that followed the main draw on Monday. The winning numbers were 11, 13, 22, 44 and 51. The Double Play Powerball drawn was 11.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has approximately a 1 in 11,688,053 chance of matching five numbers and winning at least $1 million, while that the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning the third prize of at least $50,000.
Powerball is played Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, as well as Washington DC, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
New Jersey Lottery Lawrence’s offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. should players prefer to file claims and validate winning tickets in person. Claims can be deposited in a secure drop box at the lottery headquarters. This option applies to prizes with a value greater than $599.50.
If the player wins a prize of $25,000 or more (or feels more comfortable submitting claims in person), appointments can still be made to meet with lottery representatives in person by calling 1-800-222-0996.
